Project Linus – providing security through blankets
Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday morning from 10:00 – 11:30
Starting July 12th
Wilton Collaborative Space
(2nd Congregational Church Hall)
25 Gregg Street, Wilton, NH
The Wilton Collaborative Space is pleased to partner with the 2nd Congregational Church on Project Linus, beginning on Tuesday July 12th from 10:00 – 11:30 am and continuing every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month.
Participants will create fleece blankets that will be distributed to local hospitals, Police, Fire, and Emergency Service departments as part of the Southwest NH Chapter of Project Linus. No experience is required. All materials will be supplied as well as refreshments. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn a new skill and work with others to create a blanket that will comfort a child during a difficult time.
Please register with local Project Linus Coordinator, Stephanie Ouellette at: ouellette99@gmail.com by July 8th.
Project Linus is a national organization that provides a rewarding and fun service opportunity in local communities for the benefit of children. You can learn more about Project Linus at projectlinus.org
The Wilton Collaborative Space is a project of the Wilton Public & Gregg Free Library and is made possible in part by the NH State Library and the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
