As you may know the Wilton Community Center and Main Street Association jointly arranged this little celebration to welcome back our long-absent silent policeman. This sentry is one of the last such in the country. Since (circa) 1920, it has withstood many assaults from “over-served” drivers, and Mother Nature’s tempests.
Thanks to Bailey’s Towing & Autobody for the restoration and Wilton DPW’s installation, the blinking light will keep us safe and going in the right direction.
